I've only ever played Puerto Rico online and can't seem to find anywhere where the number of each different plantation tiles is stated.

it would be useful to know just for understanding probabilities when playing - from a couple of posts i've read i gather then number of tiles for each different 'good' is different, and possibly different depending on the number of players?

Does anyone know the breakdown? thanks

https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/3076/puerto-rico
58 Island Tiles (8 Quarry Tiles, 50 Plantation Tiles (8 coffee, 9 tobacco, 10 corn, 11 sugar, 12 indigo))

(Or, actually, https://www.riograndegames.com/wp-conte ... -Rules.pdf)

As far as different player counts, the buildings/plantations remain the same. Only the ships, total colonists, total shipping points, and available roles change.

Brilliant - thanks again for the info :D

i was in a game last week where 5 coffee plantations came out in the same draw! I'm not going to try to work out the odds on that....
