Board Game Arena

I use a lot of keyboard shortcuts (for zooming the window on low-res games for example). Every time I hit command +, the chat window opens up in my way and I close it again. Could you please modify it so that it only opens if you type an actual character?

A shortcut key to open / close it would be lovely. TAB key maybe?
