tmdisplay isn't displaying in lobby or am I missing something?

The doc page says for game options, 'If this value is chosen, the value of "tmdisplay" is displayed in the game lobby' but it isn't.
I put stuff in tmdisplay and nothing appears. I only get to see the 'name' field in the select box (or as text for other players).
Hmm, does it only work on the live site? But I want to test how it looks.
I thought I could put a little bit of text to explain the map options on Quantum.
Tons of options isn't helpful if they all have obscure names and no description.
It's just pot luck at present until you can memorise 50 map names, you have to start a game and then realise you don't like that map!
Even if I could include a link to a map wiki page…

Any official word on this one? I'd love to add a short description to maps to save having to start 50 games to see them all.

To describe the option, use the 'description' field instead of 'tmdisplay'. tmdisplay is shown to players looking at the lobby and deciding whether to join a table.

Probably you didn't reload your gameoptions files from your manage page.

Ah! Thank-you! I didn't see an example of 'description' in the docs and didn't realise it could be set for each value. It was just me using the wrong field!
It seems that br tags are allowed in the description. I could maybe use unicode circled numbers to give a little map pic, like:
➐
⑧
⑨
➐ ⑧ ⑨ ⑩ ⑨ ⑧ ➐
⑨
⑧
➐
Numbers don't need translating. If the alignment is a bit off it's still better than nothing. Weird how the middle row digits shrink (for me at least). Assuming these unicode characters work everywhere. Might be safer to stick with standard numbers and EN-Space spaces but then it's hard to inidcate starting planets.
Would using full html in the description field be allowed / condoned?
