My wife and I play on the same IP

Understandably BGA prohibits creating multiple accounts to play against yourself to boost your rating.Premium membership allows you to play against someone else at the same location. My wife and I sometimes play multiplayer games with other players where my wife and I are on separate devices on the same IP. How do we avoid getting branded as cheating?

If you're not cheating, it's unlikely you're going to be branded as cheating.

If you play your games in Training Mode, it will not affect ELO. Therefore it wouldn't affect anything, and nobody would care.

The problem with playing in training mode is that other players don’t want to play in training mode once they are skilled at a game. Therefore, the two of them are limited to what games they can play.
I would say try joining a group of people who know you? There are hopefully also people out there who understand that you won’t be in the same room talking about the game.

My household does the same, we might start a table together and open it up to other players too, and it hasn't been an issue. Yes, the banner comes up saying that we're using the same IP, but that isn't an accusation of cheating in itself. I've never experienced anybody notice that or care about it, or accuse us of collusion.
