Animals are off to the side. If people go to hunt them, they do not come back until the animal is defeated. So, if 3 people are needed to defeat it (3-player game), and only 2 people are sent to fight it, they will stay there until the animal is defeated.

The effective changes to the order of game play are:
1) Place people as normal (each player placing in 1 area in turn order until all players are out of people).
