I know that, as a beta game, Flaming Pyramids is currently ineligible to be played in Arena mode. However, when it comes out of beta it will be playable in the Arena.
Currently, its provisional Arena settings are for it to be played with three players. I believe it would be preferable for it to be played with four players.
Why? Basically, because FP suffers from a particularly bad seat-ordering problem. With three players, one player will never get to play on the bottom rank (basically a 'free play') unless there is a pyramid collapse. With four players, the bottom rank is shared more equitably among players.
Of course, you might argue that the unfortunate player can always engineer a collapse so as to give them a play on the bottom rank. But in Arena mode, it seems perverse for one player to be in a much worse position than the other two. Particularly when the problem can be solved merely by increasing the number of players from three to four.
[I think the mods suggested establishing a poll to gauge mood, but I don't know how to do that.]
