When people are playing backgammon people never usually play just 1 game of it. The options should include the ability to set best of 5, 7, etc. With the score earned based on not just winning a single game but balanced towards more for winning a sequence.

Backgammon is intended that players should take alternating turns at who starts to average out the advantage that gives. It also reduces the factor of blind luck since with more dice rolls they should approach a statistical norm, so the winner will be the player who is more skilled rather than the one who is most lucky.

I agree. It's the same for every inbalanced and luck involved game

I completely agree. Indeed I gave up playing backgammon in BGA.
In this period I play Carcassonne in BGA and I play backgammon in PlayOK.

Be careful with tossing around absolutes like "never." I personally play only single games, and seldom have I had anyone request a rematch. While competition is best determined over the course of several matches, single games are often played when the goal is to have fun. :)

There is a rematch button that will alternate the player going first. And you can play as much as you want.
