Board Game Arena

I was just playing Rallyman GT and was completely disconnected from the BGA servers. I could go to literally any other website I wanted, but not BGA. I restarted my browser, then rebooted my computer completely. For over 10 minutes I got nothing when trying to connect to BGA. Any other website was no problem at all.

When I finally was able to get back on I was told I "abandoned" my game, was given a last place finish and my reputation was knocked down. I can't find anything anywhere to report a problem or ask for some kind of help. Is that "just the way it is--deal with it"? I try to support the sites I use, but I'm hoping they support their users at the same time. I've seen a LOT of people just bail on a game when every player waiting to start doesn't have a 100% reputation score, and sometimes its hard enough to get a game started even when you have one.

Looks like something did happen at that time, but it wasn't severe enough to be automatically flagged.
I also lost connection despite other sites functioning, but it only lasted a few seconds.

Someone forced a FAQ link on me when I came into the forums. Apparently you get 1 reputation point back every time you finish a game with no clock penalties, so it can be built back up quickly enough.

Me too!!!
This never happens on any other site - only here. It get slow so I refresh and mostly it works but sometimes I get disconnected while refreshing and lose the game. I then usually have to restart my laptop to get back on. Annoying!

I have the same negative experience. During one evening of playing, it happens on average 3 or 4 times that the connection is lost. The wifi indicator on top shows no wifi. Switching Wifi off and on fixes the problem. I need to restart the chat function to talk to the other players again.

I am playing using Chrome and a MacBook Air.

Any good tips are welcome because this s very annoying.
