Tiebreaker in Butterfly Tournaments?

What's the tiebreaker in Butterfly tournaments? (The rules do not specify any tiebreaker and in non-tournament play I believe a tie is just a tie.)

I believe in all games where ties are possible the tiebreaker (in single elimination tournaments) is just ELO rating.

I've read in previous discussions it may be the date of creation of the account (the oldest "wins"), but I'm not sure it has been confirmed.

Both players get 0.5 points at least in tournaments with no elemination.
