AVATARS : the new way

Hello all !
Just a quick update.
To have a better view on accounts validated or not, old or not, and to ease globale moderation about pictures, we have added 3 rules to the site :
1) You're assigned automatically an avatar if you have not setup any.
2) You can change it from our avatar database, by going to your settings, until you've played 20 games.
3) After you've played more than 20 games, you'll be able to upload one.
That's made to prevent anyone from uploading anything using quickly-made accounts we never see again after their setup.
You can, of course, upload the original "BLANK" avatar if you want to
There it is :
Regards

It would be better if users wouldn't have to change away from a randomly assigned avatar they may disagree with.

It will be improved soon with a selection when subscribing.
You can still upload anything else if needed.
Wait for it

Forcibly choosing an avatar for the user aside.
Is the pool of the randomly chosen avatar at least filtered? The default pool has numerous questionable avatars.
A few examples:

What?!
Very bad move
I really don't understand, WHY?
How does this help you to achieve the following goal?

The default pool has numerous questionable avatars.
In addition, the default pool of avatars is incredibly sexist. (If it's based on common cultural imagery (excuse me if this expression is not correct in english), it's not surprising that it's incredibly sexist. But it's not a reason to force users to participate in this.)

It does appear that at least some of the highly suggestive lightly clad busty female avatars have been removed.

My concern when I talked about sexism was not really the small number of very suggestive pictures. I'm not a puritan, and if there were also a small number of very suggestive pictures of men, it wouldn't bother me (if nobody was given a random avatar, of course).
My concern is that in this very large pool of pictures, while the pictures of men are quite varied,
almost all the women are young and pretty, and most of them are sexy, even when they are not very suggestive. This is a clear (even if it is not conscious) message that says: "Women, if you're not young, pretty and sexy, you're not of any interest." That's what I was meaning when I used the word sexist. If you're a man, you can be whatever you want, but if you're a woman, you have to be desirable. And this pervasive idea is disastrous for many girls and women.

Yes. But that is more because the world industry, has and largely still, caters to the straight male audience. And even with a gradual change to more varied depictions of any gender, the existing media that the avatars seems to be randomly taken from would still reflect a male centric appeal.

This Change should be announced at some prominent place. I know of some People who want to delete their accounts because they think, that their account has been hacked.
Also in my opinion most of suggested Avatars are quite disgusting and don't follow the bga guidelines. If I now have to look all the time at such disgusting Avatars while playing, I might reconsider using this plattform.
