This will also facilitate card-counting (e.g. one fix pick is already used, only one left)

I think this is very important to not show discarded cards, because it could be a too obvious clue about who is a saboteur or not.
And the rules (of the physical versions) clearly state that discarded cards must be face down and not shown to other players.
So there's no point in creating a bug report, because BGA's policy is to not implement unofficial house rules.

I didn't realise you shouldn't show discarded cards!
