Can I participate in a Tournament for a premium game if I am not a Premium user?

A friend (who has a Premium account) and I will create a Carcassonne tournament, but we are worried that people who don't have premium accounts won't be able to participate.
Is it possible for a non premium user to join a Carcassonne Tournament?

Short answer: yes.
More involved answer: yes, but if you don't know the answer already, it suggests that you've haven't participated in a tournament yourself. If this is true, then I strongly suggest that you play in a few tournaments before attempting to create one; this way, you'll be in a better position to understand the various tournament parameters, since BGA's documentation on such isn't terribly good at the moment.
