In order the shorten the overall length of the tournament, there will be some changes instituted with the 2021 Hive Online World Championship. The basic format will remain intact: some type of qualification system leading to a Championship Phase. The exact details have not been worked out, but watch for announcements on BoardSpace, BoardGameArena, and BoardGameGeek.
