Kingdom Builder suggestions

First I wish to say I am very happy to find this great game here. It's a great job.
I have only played a few game but I already have ideas.
My most important suggestion is to get a last action cancel button. I find it great that there is a full turn cancel button, but it could be also very useful to cancel only your last action.
Also, although I am pretty sure I will open a debate here, I think there should be real time display of all players score.
Also, a few minors ideas :
- Allow to get out of one tile playing mode by just clicking on the field card or on another tile, instead of having to click on the Cancel button each time,
- displaying a different color on the number of tiles left, depending if you already have had this tile,
- changing colors or lines so you can see better the line between hexes (mainly forest, and flowers).

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback! You actually could have post this into the dedicated forum since it's now in Beta, or don't hesitate to use the "bugs/suggestion" system (one report for each suggestion please !).
The undo policy on BGA is really a complicated thing on which no one agree. I personally stick with the "players should think before playing", eventhough I usually still add an "Undo" button mainly for misclick. On Santorini, restarting your whole turn is usually ok since your are not making a lot of moves/choices. With Kingdom Builder, it's more of a debate : a player turn is not *that* complicated (compared to other strategic game), but with many location tiles it can still be quite long. Actually I'm pretty sure there is already someone who suggested that before, feel free to upvote it and I will reconsider it if many people think the same.
Displaying the players score was already a debate during the alpha phase, the publisher liked it that way so I'll probably keep it like this unless massive vote for something else.
For the minors ideas :
- not sure if the first one is really intuitive on BGA, I personnaly wouldn't think about clicking on these part to cancel my choice. And again "thinking before playing" shouldn't make you use that "Cancel" button a lot.
- displaying something different for already owned tile location is a good one, please open a suggestion with it
- the lines between hexes are actually art from the publisher...

Some of the stats at game end are NaN.
The progression % was either 0% or 100%.
Very slick and enjoyable. gg.

The NaN is normal, it is the only way to not take into account the card that were not used during the game to compute the average over all play (no other way to disable some stats as far as I know)
Yeah the progression is broken right now, I have to fix this.

There is a suggestion report for this here:
https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=23235
Just noting here in case my comment there didn't generate a notification. You had mentioned in the response that you would reconsider if enough people voted, but when the report is in the "rejected" state, no one can vote on it.

Hi,
I encountered kinda-bug during the game
https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=109109572
At one point, when I was trying to use tile location to hop into a grass, I choose the tile location and it highlighted availible hexes to me. I click one of them and nothing happens, as if the game doesn't get the click at all. I clicked "Cancel" and then tried to do the same with the same tile and hex and it worked. I don't know where the block came from (and don't even post it to bugs as Beta and it worked the second time I tried). Just making a note something like that happened, in case it is more common problem with the implementation.
And guys, great job implementing it

Noticed something similar... not really a bug (it doesn't happen all the time, and it's not very annoying, just frustating as you have to wait) but still...
When you end your turn, you get the next card of the next player displayed. So you can try to figure out what he will probably do. But when you come back for a second look, it has disappeared.
Edit. Having watched it again, it's only a matter of card display as you can read the next card in the center.

I am happy Kingdom Builder is available now on BGA! My main suggestion is to add the location summary cards, perhaps all added along the bottom of the board? It is really helpful to have the little pictograms to illustrate what each of the location card’s extra abilities are. I haven’t finished a game yet, but am playing in several turn based ones, and it looks great so far! Thanks, Ellen Dickson

You know you can hover on a location to have the explanations right ?
Putting them on.board took too much space IMO, that's why I went with tooltips and dialog instead (whenever you click the use tile button)

I dont get it, as long as he is playing, you should see its current card
