I am seeking help to translate the rules into more languages:Xom wrote: ↑04 September 2020, 16:38Thank you to everyone contributing translations!
Many game UI translations have already been contributed, and now I'd like to get the game help (a.k.a. rules) translated, too, so that everyone can see it in their own language, when they scroll down in the game. Let's also collect all of the rules links onto
the game info page.
To start us off, I have rewritten the rules in Chinese:
http://zh.doc.boardgamearena.com/Gamehelpohseven
My Chinese is quite bad though, so if you are natively fluent, please edit it freely to improve the fluency!
(For the sake of having discussion in one place, please post any replies to
the quoted thread (which is in the Oh-Seven subforum), not here.)

Copied from the sub-forum:
When i have played this with my family as a kid we used to flip one of the kings over before bidding to determine a random trump suit.
I have always found that to be a more strategic variant as you make your bid knowing the trump suite.
Would there be any chance of getting that implemented here?
It's a great little card game but i find it too random the with the high bidder determines trump version here.
Thanks

I already replied to you in the sub-forum:
Xom wrote: ↑07 September 2020, 23:38I believe you're describing Oh-Seven's parent,
Oh Hell!, which has been on BGA since 2016. You are right in observing that the increased uncertainty in Oh-Seven makes luck a greater factor—in fact, the designer's original name for it was "Bloody Hell!"

Since this game is in Beta version does that prevent users from getting Top Elo Trophies? Just wondering because "President" is in BETA but I was still awarded ELO trophies.

All Beta games should have the same behavior. And since the trophy system is being redesigned, I wouldn't take whatever it does now too seriously.

Not really.
I understand Oh 7 is similar to Oh Hell but i am talking about an option for Oh-7 that I think makes the game far more enjoyable.

I don't know why this isn't recommended for 2. I think it's best with two!
BUG -- turn based won't let me quit

I accidentally started a turn-based game of 'Oh-7' and it isn't letting me quit out of it. Same problem with another Beta game, '99'. Ugh.

Xom suggested closing and opening the browser and things seem better now.
