I noticed I see this message at the bottom right on games:

> Do you have a wide screen? In the preferences, you can choose to display player information and game logs in 2 columns:

I do have a wide screen, but I can't figure out where that setting is in preferences. Can someone tell me how to enable this 2 column display of the game log?

User preferences can be set for each game individually and will apply to all tables of that game. They're not well documented at the moment, but they can also customize some other interface features of some games, such as showing first edition tiles in Carcassonne or automatically confirming your move in Santorini.

You can access them by loading an active game or replay and clicking the hamburger menu in the upper right, or by scrolling below the game interface to the control panel at the bottom and clicking the "Options" tab.

Oh, thanks! I didn't even know there were per-game preferences. I just went to the regular "preferences" section I can reach from my user icon. It's unfortunate they have two completely different sets of preferences that have exactly the same name, and that text just says "preferences", so if you don't know there's a second kind of "preferences" it wouldn't even occur to you to look for it.
