Hiding score

Is there a way of hiding the scores for each player until the end of the game? Playing eminent domain at the moment and I find it weird that everyone knows the score at any given moment, as people fall behind they'll lose interest and effectively just have to drudge through for the enjoyment of others. Furthermore the decision of whether it would be beneficial to force a game end or not is somewhat redundant and less exciting. Of course there are VPs that are on display but others are in hands and therefore it's down to players to count these (if they can).

Really this applies to most games where VPs shouldn't really be known until the final count. But a hiding score feature would be a great improvement in my opinion.

Points in EmDo is something that can be quite easily tracked, there are no hidden info about getting points - planets and tokens are visible, and when you develop a tech, your opponent(s) see it; they can check it later in the log too. Thus hiding points would be... well, making more effort for the players, while not gaining anything in my pov.
If it was optional, as EmDo player I wouldn't join a table with such option on. I like taking off memory part of the game and whether by site or by memory/notes, I do check points.

I can't speak much for other games, I believe the games where there are hidden points have it hidden, but I am not sure.

I suppose I feel the memory aspect would be more of a human way to play and BGA should try to emulate the sensation of playing board games IRL as much as possible. Perhaps I am just in a minority though?
