Moderation is broken, because of it I have been locked out from all access to the site as a premium customer for over 2 months now. Including not being able to access my basic account and data AND BEING locked out from ending my premium membership and/or other measures of basic account management.

Moderation is broken, see my other posts.

To ever play again will require you to double confirm (click and check box) that you accept FULL responsibility (read: guilt) for whatever situation you happen to be moderated on. It literally is making you sign that you understand, accept and vow to never do sth again. Whether you agree or not.

Simply broken. FUBAR style.

Look you are better off just waiting your three days than making threads like this. I don't think this kind of thing can possibly improve your situation and can only make it worse.

The other guy was given a last warning before a ban, I hardly think it was a friendly warning.

I said it was a "friendly" warning... Friendlier than mine, in any case. And no acces denied or karma, also... Cause... yeah... Fair.

Look, thanks for the advice, but i explained why i did this account, i just made it, i play no games with it, so it doesn't matter...

Please can you provide with a more helpful answer, like why was i exactly moderated, if i did nothing against the rules in that site, in that game? Thank you...

It is like i said... My rights as (premium) user are disrespected, i was moderated for nothing, and i want the moderation off!

Or am I just supposed to simply ignore this unfair moderation? I don't get it...

No way I would have waited to complain after the 3 days period.

I'm not a moderator so I can't give an explanation of why you were moderated. I can't explain why you got a temp ban and he a warning. My reading of the situation is that he was deemed the more culpable. He is threatened with a full ban and you are not.

I can give my opinion which is not to engage with people like that. Don't respond to them, just report them. Whether you started it or not, responding to them is likely to make their behaviour worse and more unpleasant for everybody else.

Did you actually read the chat? Thanks for the advice. I read all the moderating rules on this http://en.doc.boardgamearena.com/Moderationpolicy and i did nothing against any of those, in that game... It is not even debatable!

This is my 3rd. access-restriction, first was 1 day, the 2nd. was for 3 days. If those could have been borderline acceptable (saying the F word when an important player died in a Werewolves game, and calling some luck s****d in a Secret Moon game), this is definitely not... Report and moderate me if i do something against the BGA rules, in a game, but not FOR NO REASON!

I basically did nothing bad in that game, only used correct wording and avoided to get into a conflict with that guy, and i get moderated for what? Perhaps the moderator or admin has some personal issues, otherwise there is no logic.

I guess the only way to not be moderated in a game is to be 100% silent, otherwise even a "salute", refusal to abandon or any other word or thing can be found ban-worthy by these Moderators or Admins.

So again, my rights as Premium User have been disrespected, and i want the removal of the moderation, or valid arguments from admins/moderators, for my report in that game, according to the moderation rules.

I had to make this account and play 2 games in order to be able to defend my situation here, which is not cool...

It's a preset message. So it is basically just a friendly warning.

Mind providing a screenshot of it?

He cannot. Unless he did the pic when the page with the text appeared.
When you get moderated or several hours after you quit a game for whatever reason, a full moderation size page comes in on the site, with the penalties, and at the end there is a a button on which you must press in order to go back to the normal BGA page ("i understand and i agree", or something like that). That is the only time the full moderation page with the penalties and the "agree" text is shown.
After you press on it, it never appears again.
You can try to quit a game and in a few hours, you will see what i am talking about :-)))

Such a screen does appear when I quit, but it didn't work as he describes it.
While there was an 'agree' button of a sort, even if I never pressed it, the screen didn't appear again after a day or so. And while it was active and consistently popped up, the account settings were accessible as usual.

There was no checkbox in addition to the button. So I would guess that the moderation penalty is different, at least in that regard.

Oooh... i guess, maybe. I don't know for sure similarities between the 2 situations - moderation versus quit. I just know there is a page with that button which appears and that must be pressed in order for you to get on BGA again and play. But never did i avoid to press the Accept button after a game-leave or 1 of the 3 moderations came in, neither did I wait to see if it shows up again and for how long :))) I simply press them. :P

Your idea of the page/text being different when reported (compared to quit) might stand, but i still think it could be problematic, if not impossible, for mach to post a pic.
