I love Elfenland. But at home we always play without obstacles, which I find not so mean

So is there maybe the possibility to get a setting for the game where you can disable obstacles?

Games on BGA strive to maintain the official rules. In fact, most licenses require that the digital copy be as close as possible to the physical copy, including enforcing all rules. As such, "house rules" are not allowed.
If a publisher/developer states that a rule can or should be changed, then it can be implemented.
