Unless they convey some actual benefit, such as being able to do something I couldn't before, or warn me when I did something bad, don't bother me with another trophy or whatever you call them. Yes, I played that game. You don't have to remind me immediately after it ends. I'm not impressed, and neither is anyone else. Trophies are distracting and unnecessary.

I like the trophies - especially if they tell me I’m an enthusiast of a game I’ve just decided I’m done with!

I can’t see any harm in having the option to turn off the notifications though.

Turn off notification would be good for the people that don't care about it. The notifications can be annoying sometimes, especially when there are multiple in a row.

The invasive trophy/achievement pop-up notifications are, by far, the worst thing about BoardGameArena.

Compare these to xBox achievements, which quietly pop up in the corner and don't interrupt you from continuing.

Please make these loud annoying popups more like xBox achievements, or give us an option to disable them!

It could say to you some great achievements, like top 100 in a game.
