Seeing what cards do on touchscreen

If you are on a pc you can hover over a card (or other game object) with your mouse to see what it does.
Is there an equivalent of this if using a phone or tablet?
Sometimes I’ve clicked on something and accidentally brought up the onscreen help but I don’t know how to make it appear when I want it to.

Long press will normally bring up the rotors.

Thanks for replying, that doesn’t seem to work for me.

What device / browser / version are you using?
I've read on another thread that on iPhone and/or iPad (maybe only some of them), a double tap with the second tap being a long press would show the tooltips. Please tell us if that works or not.
I'd really like to know what are the different ways to show tooltips, and if some devices can't display them at all. This would be an important information to add in BGA's FAQ. This problem is often mentionned in the forum, but I haven't read any definitive answer to this. So I think it would be great if we could list all the ways to display tooltips depending on device used.
So here are four questions to everyone reading this:
1- Does anyone have some precise knowledge about this (more than their own personal experience) ? Is it handled by the browser, or by the OS?
2- Does a single long press show tooltips on ALL Android devices? If it doesn't for you, please mention your device / browser / version.
3- Does a single long press show tooltips on some iOS devices? If it does for you, please mention your device / browser / version.
4- Does a double tap with the second one being a long press (is there some standard way to call this? Double-tap-and-hold?) show tooltips on ALL iOS devices? If it doesn't for you, please mention your device / browser / version.

I play on an iPad. The way the game Crazy Farmers works is perfect. You click once on a card and it shows the information on the card. Mr. Jack is good too, but takes up too much area when no card is clicked. So far, of the games I’ve played, these are the only two games that work nicely from an iPad when clicking on something to get information.
Most of the other games tool tip either doesn’t work or goes away to fast
Hope that helps.

Thank you fa fa fr,
I tried the tap and hold technique without success.
I’m using an iPhone SE with iOS 12.4.8 which is the best update I’m allowed on this phone.
I agree about the way cards work in Crazy Farmers being good - though I assume you can turn that feature off once you get to grips with the game?
