Hi, I'm disappointed that I can't access Potion Explosion anymore as it's just been made for premium members only.
Are there similar games here? I like to play games that aren't too complicated with a bit of strategy but not too much. Games that don't take longer than half an hour. I like Takenoko and Tokaido for example.
Cheers

I like Battle of Lits a lot. It's completely different from Potion Explosion, but it's short, fast and rules are simple. Mastering tactics though

.
Or you could just go out and buy premium. I did it quite early on when I joined BGA and never regretted it. In fact I don't think I've ever spent that little amount of money so well

.

Remember that you can try the premium for very little for a month. I have been premium for a long time. I play little but the work they do on this page deserves support.
From the style of games you mention, try Gaia. Also Jaipur, The Builders: Middle Ages, Sobek ...
Also, with other but simple and fast mechanics, you can try Lucky numbers, P.I., Kingdominio, Sushi go.
They have spoken to me very well about Santorini but I have not tried it yet.

If you really like the game, I recommend you buy Premium so you can continue to start Potion Explosion games. Otherwise you can wait till someone else starts a game and join that.
Premium costs about the same as a cup of coffee once a month. It is phenomenal value.

You might like Cacao, Race for the Galaxy, Dice Forge, Chakra.
Keeping in mind that one can still join premium games started by other people, I'd also say check out Kingdomino, Love Letter and 7 Wonders - there's bound to be an open table at some point.

Thank you for the recommendations! I will check them out.
As for paying premium, I would if I worked but I'm on the disability pension and every cent counts.
Cheers
