New to this site so please excuse me for asking but I thought you got double points when scoring a super meeple on a feature but I only seem to get normal points. Also do you forfeit any points if you are in the red on time dont seem to understand the timing yet. Could anyone help a beginner on here?

Read rules again! You don't get double points with big meeple.
"During scoring, however, the big follower counts as if the player had deployed two normal followers to the road, city, cloister or farm.."
If you are in red on time you get bad karma
