Arena mode 6 Players?

I know this game works best with lots of players, but is 6 players too much for Arena? Tables are very difficult to fill.
At least we managed one this season.
There was one that started near the end of season 2, but it didn't go anywhere due to the huge wait times.
II think I actually prefer doing 5 players anyway, due to everybody having that second memory.
