Make K-factor not count alpha games

Title.

I played 60 games of Yokai, and now my gain of elo are really low. And it started from 0.

edit: At the same time, you got some experience on the game when it goes out of alpha. So K-factor shouldn't be at a normal amount neither... You can easily make people start at 200 elo if K-factor is low maybe?
But then it would became a problem for games like The Crew.
Ouch that suggestion is way more complicated than it seem.

Personally I would just disable Elo entirely for alpha and beta games, or at least reset it to 0 on release.

Alpha and beta are for testing; these games are likely to contain numerous bugs that may even influence the results.

Alpha games are already played in training mode only (no impact on rankings).
Beta games are considered ok for playing so normal mode is available (but arena and tournaments are not and you can also select training mode if you don't want ranking on a beta game).

I agree with Romain, if you want to test a lot in Alpha (you can easily reach 40 games when there are lots of new versions), your ELO progress will be really slow when it is released because of your K-factor.

Oh so maybe the problem here is that training games make the K-factor decrease.
So it has an indirect impact on rating.

I believe the same is true when you play games solo.

I played many games solo in Clans of Caledonia (training mode), and then when I played with other people, my K factor was already down to 10.

This is clear, but the training matches seem to contribute to your "first X matches of a game" where X determines what is your current K factor for a game. So if this is true, I would consider it a bug. Only games in normal mode should be counted for this.
