Suggestions are difficult to submit

I cringe at trying to submit a suggestion because it's not an easy thing to do. Every field has to be filled, so after writing my paragraph, I move the last sentence into the additional information box. Is this right? Then after I hit submit I cannot find the suggestion anywhere...did it get submitted? is it gone? idk, I have done this several times this year and it seems like since I can't find it maybe it has to be submitted again...idk.

In the suggestion tracker, you can sort by "Last update." If you do this right after your submission, it should show up at the top so you know it has been submitted.

Standard practice on suggestions is to post it in this (the Suggestions) forum and gather feedback. Once potential problems have been dealt with and solutions proposed, submit a suggestion in the tracking system. Then post a link to that suggestion in the thread, so other people can upvote it.

100 people suggesting variations on the same improvement is 100 single-vote suggestions, not one 100-vote suggestion. Improvements are considered based on votes for it.

I usually put some non-essential but possibly useful information in there: a link to a related bug report, how another game has implemented it, something to keep in mind, a personal opinion, ...

But yes, it isn't always easy to fill the field. Alternatively, you could just write "Nothing specific to add" or something. In any case, I'd put all of the essential information in the actual suggestion box.
