Where did the premium colors gone?

Earlier, I found a main site bug (pretty recently posted) that a premium player can't have colors anymore.
Is this a bug?

Your account is a Standard account. Player color preferences are no longer respected once you are no longer premium.
I had already written the following before noticing this, but it would explain why player color preference might not work as expected on some games:
There isn't any allowance for variations that I know of, so in order for player color preference to be respected, the rgb color implemented in the game has to exactly match one of the preference colors, which are as follows:
ff0000 - Red
008000 - Green
0000ff - Blue
ffa500 - Yellow
000000 - Black
ffffff - White
e94190 - Pink
982fff - Purple
72c3b1 - Cyan
f07f16 - Orange
bdd002 - Khaki green
7b7b7b - Gray
Most games follow these color definitions, but some use other colors, such as bright green (#00ff00)

I'm talking about someone else who is premium right now, and he can't select colors.
