My first game Liverpool Rummy is in Alpha.

I couldn't find a rummy game to play with my family, so I wrote one! BGA is great!! This was a lot of work for an inexperienced person like me. The graphics UI/UX could use an experienced hand, but I think it's playable. I'm not so sure about higher quantities of players, like if 12 or 14 people sit down to play, should the rules be changed?? Or points be adjusted for the easier hands??

I wrote this mostly for my family to play, but hopefully it can become fun for everyone. Thanks for taking a look!

If the link doesn't work and you want to try it then message me, I might have to invite you to the tester pool.

My parents taught me a very similar game they called "progressive rummy", so, nice! a few things:

1) can you please add Rockridge & RobCuts to the group for play? I'd love to test it out more
2) perhaps a few options?
2a) with or without jokers
2b) unlimited buys
2c) rummies, right now it looks like if you have melded a set of 10s I can discard a 10 without issue, whereas in most rummy games any player (who has already melded in most cases) can call rummy, take and play that card and get a free discard in games like this one where your hands counts against you instead of melded points counting for you...

3) also I'd say the voice over is... distracting? if you find it useful for your group perhaps make it an option (even enabled by default but optional would be awesome)

yes, I'm a pain, but I'm liking the game pay so far (playing a 4 player vs myself via hotseat)

Thanks for the response and ideas! I'll work on implementing the optional components.

Feel free to submit "bugs" or "requests" to the bug reporting system. I can always decline :-)

I'm not sure about how rummy games play. My family plays it with the rules as-is. Maybe these rules aren't right and I need to add that 'take the playable card' feature. I like the idea, it just needs my time to get done.

Another request by my family is to add a requirement to "knock" when you have only 1 card left in your hand. The game "Solo" has this feature. If you don't knock properly then you must draw a card and you are not allowed to go out on your next turn.
