Hello.
I am still trying to develop my first game.
Everything was fine until yesterday night.
Since then, I cannot return to the game interface of the actual game, it says "The server reported an error.".
When I click on the link to access the table, here is the error message :
Code: Select all
Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred...
Wrong formatted data from main BGA website:
#0 /var/tournoi/release/tournoi-201126-0918-gs/www/view/common/game.view.php(248): APP_DbObject->masterNodeRequest('getGenericGamei...', Array)
#1 /var/tournoi/release/tournoi-201126-0918-gs/www/view/common/ebg.view.php(23): game_view->generate_content(Array)
#2 /var/tournoi/release/tournoi-201126-0918-gs/www/include/webActionCore.inc.php(285): ebg_view->generate(Array)
#3 /var/tournoi/release/tournoi-201126-0918-gs/www/index.php(242): launchWebAction('sixbadguizmo', 'action_sixbadgu...', '__default', false, false, NULL, true, false)
#4 {main}
Table url :
https://studio.boardgamearena.com/1/six ... ble=217681
Any idea where to look ?
Thank you all.

I think the game you started to test has expired. If you have the option to express stop, try that. Or try to express start a new game. I think this happened to me too. But I'm new to this too! Trying to help.

Thank you for the advise.
But I cannot manage to get to the page where I can express stop.
If I try start a new game (nb : as developper) it tells me that I already have a "game in progress at another table!".
I am stuck with a game where I can't go and no possiblity to stop it.
I will try to modify my game files if it can solve the pb.

When you try to start a new game it should send a message "You have a game in progress at another table! See this game" and click the See this Game link.
When I try to access your game from the link, it says it can't find the game in the database:
1)Either you changed the game name in infos file.
2)The game number expired or everyone quit
3)You may be trying to access the game through an old link? Fav?
Goto Control Panel>Manage Game> Click your game> click to play your game > create a new table > then it sends message in red - quickly click the link <See this Game>
If that doesn't get you to where you can stop it:
try refreshing the codes in the manage game section.

Hello.
Still no progress.
All links come to "The server reported an error."
Can't manage to stop the game and I can't start a new one till this is "live".
The database of the game still exists.
I suspect the game name in gameinfos.inc.php like you suggested but can't remember what was before (tried "My Great Game" ...).
last things I will try to do :
- replace all files with default project file
- suppress the entire project and start a new one
I will keep this thread updated.

The problem is worse.
I deleted the project, but the website still tells me that :
You are playing sixbadguizmo_displayed (realtime)
in the upper banner.
I am stuck here and I haven't found a way to get back to normal.
Any help is apreciated.
Thank you.

You should be able to get to the table page where you can express stop it by changing the url from
https://studio.boardgamearena.com/ 1/yourgamename?table=NNNNNN
to
https://studio.boardgamearena.com/ table?table=NNNNNN

Thank you all for your help.
The problem is solved.
In the troubleshooting guide there are steps to solve it :
https://en.doc.boardgamearena.com/Troub ... d_an_error
There is a syntax error in my gameinfos file.
After replacing it with a default file the problem disapeared.
Let's go find that syntax error ^^
EDIT : found the syntax error. an "umlaut" (un tréma, je ne suis pas sûr de la traduction) was on the game artis name :
Kümmelmann, Mühlhäuser
