Hi BGA, I would appreciate if you could bring the original Jaipur design back to life. And I am sure others would too.
The new design bites the eyes!!! I personally really don't like to play Jaipur anymore with the new design. It hurts the eyes and the brain cells. It is a really beautiful design but not for a game that we are playing since a long time with the original colors and design. You can give theses colors and new drawings to new games but not to an old game. Chess players also don't play with any other chess figures than the old original ones.

Jaipur old design was perfect, why mess with it????

BGA did not decide to commission new artwork for the game on a whim by themselves. Rather, the publisher released a new print version (which now comes in a wider, shorter orange box). They probably also requested that BGA update the graphics. Complain to the publisher, not BGA.

Quite frankly I'm positively surprised the game is still playable here, with the original artwork to boot. It was removed from another board game site.
