animation and undo before submit

I have messed up so many times because my moves do not do what I was expecting for whatever reason. This could easily be avoided if the animations were shown before you submit your move. In this way you would be able to see your programs executed and be able to undo your move if it is not what you wanted.

This game was implemented / coded in 2014, back when they didn't use so many "fancy abilities" like preview and undo. Also, it was done by the BGA team so I don't know if there's even anybody who would feel responsible for doing anything about it. In any case, the first step for getting anything done is to submit a bug report so the devs (in this case the BGA team) can have a look at it.

I had a look at bug reports and they did fix some bugs in 2017, after waiting 3 years. Since then it doesn't look like anything has happened, and the founder of BGA who also fixed those bugs has left the building. There is already a bug report about improving the Undo functionality, but none about pre-animating the move before confirming.

If you want to submit a bug report about this, please do so here:

Any BGA adaption is meant to portrait the experience of playing the board-game in real-life as much as possible.

Half the fun here is seeing how things play out.

And ALL of the game is visualizing how things will play out. Being wrong about that is part of the game.
