Closing own bug/suggestion report

Players often report 'bugs' which are not actually bugs but a mere misunderstanding.
Soon players realize the mistake, but the reports themselves have to be dealt with anyway.
This clogs up reports submission easily if a certain rule or feature (or the game itself) is too complex to understand correctly.
So adding an option to close own reports might be helpful.
In addition, actual bug reports somehow fixed without notice can be closed later too. I have one or two to be closed
But to prevent deliberate trolling closing should be disabled by 5 or more upvotes.
Gaining upvotes mean other players also think the bug/suggestion is worth a look.
Closing such reports without any agreement will cause confusion.
