Are bug reports for a specific table with a very infrequent error even worth submitting? I played a game of buttons yesterday (#130430086) and there was an error at the end of the game resulting in the game results not being recorded. In 11 games it has only happened this one time. I happened to win, which should have resulted in a 5 game win streak achievement (the only reason I somewhat care). Anyway, I wrote to BGA as it seems it would be a simple fix (I recognize they are busy and this is trivial) and was told to submit it as a bug report. I looked into it and I'm almost certain it would never be addressed as there are a number of bug reports I found regarding specific tables that were closed because of lack of activity. At this point it doesn't matter to me if anything is changed, I'm just curious if anybody has had any luck getting a situation like this fixed?

If it is game specific it really depends on the game. A lot of games that have been around for awhile don’t have a developer. There is some effort to hunt down bugs by ‘mercenary’ coders but don’t know how far this has gone. More popular games/bugs are more likely to get fixed.

This looks more like a temporary server issue preventing the game to be recorded rather than a game related bug.
But to answer your question clearly, random bugs are clearly the more difficult kind to fix: if the developer cannot reproduce the bug reliably, they can spend a lot of time trying to imagine what could have gone wrong (that's an unbounded domain).
