For new players in particular, it would be nice to be able to click on something (like the fire pyramid) to get an explanation of why you caused mayhem. For example, you have placed a tile that you think will not cause mayhem but it does (your tile doesn't match colour or number). If that message popped up for 5 seconds before the tiles crumble (upon request if it is annoying for experienced players), it would satisfy you that you had in fact caused mayhem. Maybe the mayhem is a rule you didn't understand or recall (i.e. 2 incendiary devices side by side). If you had a quick message like "2 incendiary devices touching", you would know better next time.
it was me. When you cause mayhem, the explanation of why is displayed in the area on the left where it says what card you played. I never noticed that area before or if I did, I ignored it.
