agreed. would be great to get a 3p option. i would be ok with 4p as a possibility if it was optional as individual or teams.
also note, i have played a nuclear variant of cribbage 3p. it is quite interesting and fast. most folks do not like the slow pace of 3p version. so this one allows for some craziness.
nuclear variant 3 player:
dealer deals 8 cards to each player.
each player gets their own crib. each player puts 2 cards in their crib and gives one card to each opponents crib.
once cribs are created, and deck is cut, dealer flips the top card. he can decide to keep it or put it on bottom of the deck and flip the next card. he can continue the process until he gets a favorable card or the fifth card is flipped which he must keep.
play remains the same.
scoring after the play is normal where player left of dealer scores their hand and continue clockwise to the next player. the dealer scores his hand and crib, then scoring continues clockwise with each other player counting their crib in clockwise order.
scores will often be much higher as the dealer has a big advantage. 121 points still ends the game.
also if you end up with a flush in your crib, you get the points regardless of whether the cut card is same suit or not.
would be cool if we could get this option for 3p too.
