shorter time limits on realtime games

I choose the fast play option. But I find that there is still too much time for people to go fix a sandwich b/t turns. Any way to shorten it for faster games?

Thanks

Why not depending of the game too, cause 3:00 of thinking in Rallyman gt seem too much for me, I mostly take like 10 seconds to do basic placement and about 1/2 actual fast time if I crash in flat out.

Maybe adding a new time named (ultra-fast), which is half the time of fast.

The time IS ALREADY determined by players themself( average)
but yea if some players want ultra fast, why not?

:)

Yeah, truth, but some game are already greatly timed whit fast setting, but 3:00 in dices placements, that also stop about 1/2 a second each, so there, 1:30 seem fast enough. But some games, like saboteur, fast mode is fast enough in my taste. (1min:42sec)

I'm sorry that some people think my low reputation score is b/c I'm bailing out of games. I'm not. Complaining of slower players doesn't help my case with a low reputation. I actually had connection issues lately and it tanked my rating. But whatever. I was hoping people would be open to a faster game option. It gets old staring at the screen waiting two minutes for someone to choose where to place their dice.

Indeed, it's game dependent and set by the developer, as far as I know.

If you feel the "Fast" option in Marco Polo is too slow, it's probably best to create a suggestion: https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=1200. You can then post it on the forum to get some feedback and see if others agree: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=263

Adding more options is not a good solution, since they then need to be retroactively set for all games and it becomes another thing developers have to balance around (just using a fixed percentage of "fast" everywhere may not be ideal). 3 properly configured options should be enough.
