Board Game Arena

In the table settings there are "Advanced Rules" and other settings not mentioned in the rules booklet. Where do we find the rules for this?

The coffee/bacon expansions were not indicated in the french rules

The only advanced rules that were not implemented on the BGA version of this game was "surprise party". Surprise party is when you can yell "surprise" and steal a customer from someone even when its not your turn if you have the customers favorite dessert. No tip is given during surprise party. I wonder why they didn't add it to BGA. I guess with all the advanced rules Surprise Party is the hardest to comprehend and implement to an online version of the game. Personally, I don't mind. I love the game both basic version and advanced version with just poaching/blocking and the open buffet. I don't necessarily need the Surprise Party aspect. I do wish I was able to find a youtube video or something to explain Surprise Party to me/watch someone use it in a playthrough because I have a hard time understanding/seeing it in action even though I understand the concept of it. All the videos I see never explain Surprise Party. lol
