Karma went down for a player of an alpha game

Hi,
I have received this bug from one the testers of my game: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=31029
He says that he has lost Karma by quiting my game (which is still in Alpha). I selected turn based with 5 days per person. Did this happen because I chose normal mode instead of training mode? Should this be possible for Alpha Games? And can I do something myself about the message he got that he could quit this game without losing the karma points?
Thanks a lot.

That is questionable, I never see a training mode quit before.

Well, I found out the game was in normal mode (impossible to do normally) and that why he get karma lost, did the host hack? Because I can't make it normal mode by myself (because of alpha rules that make the game in training mode only).
And can I do something myself about the message he got that he could quit this game without losing the karma points?
I don't know too, but there is a message whit a message telling something like: "can play as long as they want and there no penalties".

The developer has the possibility to select normal mode (for testing timers for example). I see that OP was present at this table as the developer, so that's probably what happened by mistake.

Ok, thanks Een!
