Board Game Arena

I've just encountered some spam in the classic sense (unsolicited commercial advertising) in the comments on a bug report: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=8726 (comment posted 2020-01-02). I went to the poster's profile and clicked "Report this player", but it doesn't seem to fit in any of the listed categories. Surely this is something that we should be able to report and that you want to moderate?

Indeed I was aware of some occurrences, but this seems to happen more frequently than I thought.
Probably we will have to set up a filter to forbid external links in bug comments.

I checked, and we actually already made some changes because of this. We have added some conditions so that recently registered players cannot comment any more in the bug tracker.
There may still be some spam from before though. I cleared several, but probably missed some.

If you follow this idea, please just don't make it impossible to link to Imgur or similar sites that allow to post a screenshot.

Or make it based on some kind of reputation score. I tend to put images on my own site and link to them there for preference.

Also, I still think that this should be covered by a new item in the reportable behaviour.

As explained in my second message, problem has actually already been solved. All cases were far in the past. No extra action seem warranted at the moment.

there is an pretty recent one in october-november 2020 (where is the spam-like thing, but it's stopped), here is the link (most voted suggestion on werewolfes):
