Shuffling in Dominion

After playing quite a lot of games of Dominion, I really have the impression that the shuffling algorithm doesn't do a very good job. Sometimes it seems as if no shuffling is done at all.
Anyone else noticed that?

Hi, I don't quite know if that is true. In the past I had that feeling too but I am now wondering if that is not a product of some selection bias by our brains which tends to remember more the extraordinary events, giving us the impression that they happen more often than they actually do.

In dominion, there is another thing that can be misleading: when you "form a new deck" while you have some card that you have in hand or just played, they will be kept outside of that new deck that just formed, meaning they won't appear for a long time, producing the impression the randomness of the draw is flawed.

And finally, the game will be taken away from BGA in the coming days so there isn't really a reason to worry about this...
