Include BGG rating with the games.

Hey,

When deciding on a new game to play, it'd be helpful to have that critical information front and center. I usually end up having to look through various tabs to make a new pick.

Ideally it should be on the main page so you don't need to click through. But, at a minimum, it should be when you click through next to how long, complexity, and how many players.

Thanks!

Something like this would be helpfull. Or even for BGA to have it's own rating system. I'd like to give ratings and add notes to the games, even for myself.

I'd be happier with it being ratings native to BGA - I think the interface will impact how enjoyable a game is, and that some of the issues like analysis paralysis are mitigated better on here

With that said, I find games to be an incredibly subjective thing - some people love games like Uno, Munchkin or Exploding Kittens, but what value would their ratings have for people who hate those games. I'd kind of like to have something a it more user based, such as data tracking "Players who have played this game more than 20 times also play the following games more than 20 times..." and maybe have a slightly different view on a player's profile where they get to see the common games to a number of the ones that they play themselves. At least this way you may get something a bit more tailored to your own preferences

I totally agree but that could be a little more complicated to implement. Also, I also would like to see tags on the game's page, so you could see at first glance which type of game it is, it's themes, etc. I like the 4 attributes (complexity, strategy, luck, interaction) to describe a game, but a line with tags could be helpful too. And the ability to rate and make anotations. Maybe I played a couple of games of a game, and in a few months later (or even years) someone suggest me to play that game and I can't remember well if I liked it or not or the reasons for that. For example, taking a note like "it snowballs quickly and it's very difficult to win once you're behind".
