Do we have a bug in this tournament ? https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=70265

We are 6 and we have 10 games to play on a Swiss System. It doesn't take long to figure out that we should all play twice against all the other players.
That is not happening as third games against sames players are being created.

Do you agree to call this a bug ?
What can we do ?

Indeed it's impossible to prevent games with the same opponents with only 6 players and 10 rounds.

The matchmaker algorithm is looking up all past games in the tournament to try and prevent this.

But when it can't, it doesn't prioritize based on recent games.

The goal of the swiss system is not to have so many matches for so few players, as it's not easy to do - priority is set to match players by score.
10 games is clearly too much for 6 players.

This is not a bug, but this is something which could be improved, not easily though.

For sure it could be improved. We now have 4 games between same players
