Real time and training questions

Suppose I start a less popular, 4 player, real time game. After 2-3 hours, we have a crew, but I have to leave (work).

1. Is there a penalty if I start this game the next day?
2. Is there a way to temporarily switch to a turn based game?

What's the best thing to do when you happen to like some less popular games that take a while to start? Thanks!

Also, training games are always turn based, right?

Real time games are automatically abandoned after I think 4 hours of inactivity.

You can put forward while in game that it gets switched to turn-based mode (hamburger menu), all players (with positive clocks) need to agree.
once it has done so I don't believe there's any way of coverting it back to being real time however.

Training mode can be found in real time. There's no timers, but it is subject to the 4 hour inactivity levels.
(Turn-based has the same thing after 90 days)

isn't 40 days in the turn-based ones in the faq? (here is in french):
FAQ wrote:Une table tour par tour est fermée automatiquement si aucun coup n'a été joué au cours des 40 derniers jours.
