Please could you add something that shows who the first player is? It’s easy to lose track in a turn based game.

This is already present. In the playing area, below the available buildings and workers, and next to the player names. The first player has a rectangular/card icon next to it, indicating the first player. When you hover over this icon it also says "First player".
