Game Log

Hello,
Can whoever's department it is, or responsibility, please find a way of removing general messages from the game log, please?
When I am trying to learn a game that I am playing for the first few times I want to follow the actions of others via the game log. Additionally, when I am playing turn-based games and I return to a game to make a move I will want to see what the other players have done by reading the game log. In both of the examples reading the game log is made annoyingly more convoluted by the numerous unnecessary messages of who is coming online or going offline - which I can find for myself elsewhere if I need to know, and messages post by other gamers which are not relevant to me at the time in general messages.
This can be solved by keeping the general messages tab, which appears in the bottom right corner of the screen, whilst you are not playing a game, as a second tab alongside the chat at this table tab. I can then access those general messages separately from the game log when, and if, I want to see those messages. Please make this change as soon as possible because it is really depreciating my experience of playing and trying to learn new games.
