How many premium accounts are needed for multiple households with multiple players?

Hi,
we wanted to use bga to play with friends, who live far away, and also ones, who can not visit because of the pandemic.
The questions is, since its all couples (with multiple PC's):
Do all houlsholds have to have Premium? (if true..why?)
We just want to play together unranked.
best regards,
MethoMet

That is not arena.
One premium per table, with any number of players on the same IP, is enough.

sorry, called board game arena, thats what I meant.
Scenario would be:
houeshold 1: 2 people (one premium)
household2: 2 people
houlshold 3: 2 people
would all houshold needs a premium account to play together, or is one enough?

Household or not is irrelevant.
Any table with two or more users on the same IP will require a premium account user to be at the table too, to start the game.
Looking at it alternatively.
Any table with at least one premium account user will be able to start.
Any table with same IP players won't be able to start without at least one premium account user.

More details on what N_Faker posted, as it applies to your specific example:
Assuming that household 1 has players A1 (premium), and b1 (non-premium).
Both members of household 2 will not be able to play together under basic circumstances.
Both members of household 3 will not be able to play together under basic circumstances.
If A1 is at a table, it is not "basic circumstances", and everybody listed will be able to play at the same table.

Ahhh, ok.
Thank you all for your help.
So as long as there is one premium hosting, the IP bounderies are not in place. Good to know, so I can tried to convince my friends to try this out with us
P.S. Changed the title, sorry for any confusion, I was just confused
