The 1988 classic would be work really well here!
Just click the "SET!" button, and you have 2 seconds to collect your three cards. Otherwise a minus point. If someone else clicks during your two seconds, their clock starts running after you're done, but they have a choice of cancelling, since you maybe just collected their set.
