The alpha server currently is unavailable (so all games in alpha cannot be played at the moment).

We are trying to repair it (filesystem issue).

We have setup a clear error message when trying to start an alpha table saying that alpha games are currently unavailable for technical reasons.

We'll try to save the server first, and if we can't manage that, setup a new server.

Server filesystem has been repaired, but data could not be recovered, and after such a crash, we don't trust the hardware anymore.

We'll setup a new server for alpha games.

Thanks for looking into it! No worries about the lost progress. They're alpha games after all.

New server is up, but please note that launching new tables for alpha games is not reopened yet.

We had to restore game data from the backup done on Feb. 18th, so:
- games created after the backup will be unavailable (you'll just be redirected to the table page) -> you can quit these games
- moves played after the backup will have been lost (starting over from the state at the moment of the backup)
- the state of games will not be synchronized between the main site and the gameserver (we'll look into this to resynchronize)

Currently there is also an issue left with some translations.

New server is up & running again.

Games has been resynchronized + translations are fine.

New alpha games can now be launched.

It sounds like this is solved! Very glad to hear it.

Maybe you could change the name of the ticket (showing at the top of the news feed) as Resolved?

I keep seeing it and thinking there might still be a problem.

Could it be possible that there is still an issue with deploying new versions to alpha?
I pushed a new version this afternoon, and although the test games started display as having the new versions, it still looks like and plays like the deploy from few days ago.

Indeed, the restriction had not been removed on one server for automatic mode.
