Board Game Arena

I would like to climb the Arena Ladder in Carcassonne but it takes forever to find a match... I am premium if that changes anything. Do you have any advice what could speed up the matchmaking process?

Have you changed any of the 'personal' settings (e.g. Game Speed) for Carcassonne? There was a thread a few weeks ago (which unfortunately I can't find) by someone complaining of the same thing and I think they solved it by resetting all of their settings for the game in question. Might be worth a try.

I'm not aware of having changed anything and as I understand it the settings for arena are preset anyway. I should add that I'm almost only playing turn based and not real time because I have 3 little kids and almost never have time to sit through a real time match
