Board Game Arena

I do 99% of my gaming here asynch. For that reason, I like to use game invites the way I do on Yucata and BAJ: invite way more people than a table can hold, and those first to join the game get to play.

So, for instance, I'd set my table size to 3, I set the Restrict Table to My Friends, and then announce to all dozen of my friends to come join. The first 2 that opt to join, are able to play.

I can do something *kinda* like this, but, I'm restricted to how many people I can invite.

How best to undertake what I want?

Restrict to group: 'My Freinds'

But, they don't get an email notification or anything, right? How do they know to go check and join a game?

No email(s), if they did then that sounds like the biggest email spam alert ever.

It will appear in their list of 'Play Now' tables.

Actually, I would PREFER to get the email invitations from my friends who are setting up games. Is that a preference setting here on BGA?

There is no 'automatically send an invite to all my friends whenever I create a table', nor is there the ability to automatically receive them.
